The Hui­chol Indi­ans, whose shaman­is­tic cul­ture dates back more than 3,000 years and who enjoy almost mythic sta­tus, were one of the ear­li­est inhab­i­tants of the Nayarit region, Kupuri, the Hui­chol term for the uni­ver­sal life force that flows through all of nature’s cre­ations is more than a name.
